Kris Jenner’s makeup artist posts more heavily filtered photos despite backlash: ‘Looks so fake’

Kris Jenner’s makeup artist proudly posted new heavily filtered photos of the momager after facing backlash for sharing a controversial video of her glam.
“Today’s Glam @krisjenner,” her makeup artist, Samer Khouzami, captioned a series of photos showcasing the “Kardashians” star’s youthful appearance.
But critics were quick to point out that Jenner, 67, appeared to be Photoshopped, having no wrinkles, no pores, and overly sparkly eyes in the carrousel of snaps.
“Is this photo shop I don’t understand. It looks so fake,” one person commented on the post.
“As a professional makeup artist, I find it disheartening that you have to put a filter on her,” an alleged makeup expert wrote, adding, “If this is her people telling you that you can’t post it unless it’s filtered, shame on them.
“At what point will this family stop putting these insane expectations on themselves and their fans? Let’s do better! #nofilterneeded.”
“A filter on top of a filter!!!” a third said.
“This is insulting for a makeup artist to post this trash,” a netizen jabbed.
However, fans of the makeup maestro’s work chalked up Jenner’s youthful glow to Khouzami’s talents.
“Y’all it’s SAMER! I think what we’re seeing here is the work of a master makeup artist and good lighting. Also btw she’s never looked better🔥,” a defender said.
“Why were ppl complaining about filters? I don’t see any. She looks stunning 🔥👏,” another agreed.
“OMGGGGG 😍 she looks 30 years younger ❤️ you are the best in the world @samerkhouzami ❤️,” one more wrote.
Social media users were left scratching their heads when Khouzami shared a video in which Jenner appeared unrealistically flawless on Monday.
“Is this AI?” multiple people asked in the comments section of the post.

“Embrace your age. This filter is ridiculous,” someone wrote, with another troll saying, “What the hell is happening that’s not her face.”
“Why add a filter? Kris is stunning. Wrinkles are not a bad thing, I promise,” a kinder critic said.
The mom of six has been shamed for using filters in the past. In April, Jenner was accused of heavily editing a selfie with her daughter Khloé Kardashian when they both appeared impossibly smooth-skinned.
Viewers were also left “scared” when Jenner didn’t quite look like herself during the Season 3 premiere of “The Kardashians” in May. Instead, she was compared to Liza Minnelli, Michael Jackson, James Charles, and even her ex Caitlyn Jenner.
Other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have been called out for editing fails over the years.
Kylie Jenner was memorably slammed for heavily editing her Halloween photo shoot last year. And this Spring, Kim Kardashian was dragged for altering a Skims promotional picture in which she looked like she was missing a finger.
Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian was accused of enlarging her bottom in a “belfie” in January 2022, and earlier this year Kendall Jenner was roasted for posting a photo in which her fingers looked abnormally long.
