‘Stressed’ Beyoncé fans scrambling to find tour outfits after singer’s last-minute request
Beyoncé fans are scrambling after the singer asked concertgoers to wear “silver fashions” to her “Renaissance” world tour.
The “Crazy in Love” hitmaker took to Instagram last week with the last-minute request for fans attending her upcoming performances.
“my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22,” she wrote.
“We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of Crome,” the Grammy winner added.
However, the request left her fans — who call themselves the Beyhive — in chaos.
“beyoncé giving me a week and a half to find a chrome outfit whyyyyyyy,” one person tweeted.
A second person added, “Beyonce got me stressed out asking us to wear all silver 2 days before the concert.”
Others stood their ground, refusing to switch up the outfits they had been planning since tickets went on sale six months ago.
“i’m not wearing chrome and beyoncé just gone have to deal with it idk,” one fan tweeted.
Another concertgoer wrote, “i’m not changing my outfit lmao. im just gonna wear what i planned before sorry to mother.”
A third person chimed in, “Beyoncé bitch I already have my outfit and it’s not chrome. She so aggravating.”
Nevertheless, Etsy businesses are reportedly seeing a massive sales boom.
Seller Sequin Fans said they’ve seen a 200 percent increase in sales of silver clothing, while Radiancy Designs said their traffic is four times higher than usual, per TMZ.
But Beyoncé has been rumored to make very particular requests when it comes to her tour.

The “Cuff It” singer, 41, recently made headlines after a report by US Sun claimed her tour rider featured personal toilet seats.
“Beyoncé is such an elite performer she can literally request anything,” a source told the outlet.
“Her team makes great effort to ensure she has her own comforts and a personal toilet seat happens to be one.”
However, the music icon’s mom, Tina Knowles, has since shut down the toilet seat rumors.
“That is so ridiculous,” she told TMZ. “Those are stands that you put fans on, they’re called toilet seats,” she added.
Beyoncé’s tour kicked off in Stockholm in May and will conclude in Kansas in October.
