Chase Chrisley’s ex-fiancée, Emmy Medders, ‘hopeful’ after broken engagement

Chase Chrisley’s ex-fiancée, Emmy Medders, shared an optimistic message a little more than a week after he announced that they had called off their engagement.

“Welcome August. 🤍 Hopeful + grateful for you!” she captioned an Instagram Reel on Tuesday.

In the video, Medders — who wore light-wash jean shorts, a long-sleeve black shirt and black cowboy boots — walked around the roof of a parking garage and smiled as she posed from different angles.

The social media personality, 26, aptly paired the video with a version of Taylor Swift’s song “August” — where Swift sings about a romance that was never going to work.

Medders has stuck to posting videos and photos mainly of herself or herself with her family and she has completely wiped her feed of any photos with Chrisley.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum also deleted pictures with his ex and they have both unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Chrisley, 27, confirmed that the two had split on his Instagram Story after fans noticed them not sharing photos of each other.

“Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself,” he wrote on July 25 over a black screen. “We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

Medders has yet to comment on or address the split, although she previously revealed they temporarily broke up for two weeks in early 2021.

The former couple began dating in early 2020.

Chrisley popped the question with a 3.5-carat oval diamond in October 2022.

The proposal took place at a baseball stadium and featured over 175,000 rose petals. Both of the reality star’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley — who have since been serving time in different prisons for fraud — were present.

Chase previously played coy about the status of his relationship when he appeared on his sister Savannah Chrisley’s podcast “Unlocked,” which was released the same day as he announced the split.

“So, you’re doing OK?” Savannah asked her brother, to which Chase replied, “Yeah, I’m doing OK.”

Savannah insinuated that Chase wasn’t telling the full story, joking that he wasn’t giving her “any good juice.”

“You don’t give any personal juice!” Savannah said before clarifying that she’d like him to say something “for a tabloid to take and run with.”

Chase argued that he’s trying to keep his “damn name out of the tabloids — not in them” before agreeing to do a “tell-all” where he has a “lot of s–t to tell.”
