‘Below Deck’ alum Kate Chastain shows photo proof Chef Ben Robinson isn’t son’s father
Kate Chastain wants to set the record straight about the identity of her son’s father … once again.
The former reality TV star, 40, took to Twitter to post side-by-side photos of her son and her “Below Deck” co-star Chef Ben Robinson when he was a baby to prove that they weren’t related.
“It would be great if people would stop commenting and messaging me ‘baby Ben!’…….every single day,” Chastain captioned the post.
“For reference this is Ben as a baby on the left next to Sullivan. Clearly not related”
Since welcoming her son, Sullivan Cay, in May, many “Below Deck” fans have speculated that Robinson is the father of her son.
When Chastain “hard launched” her son on Instagram shortly after delivery, users flocked to the comments to point out her son’s “resemblance” to Robinson.
“tell me Ben’s the dad without telling me Ben’s the dad,” one user wrote with another commented that Sullivan is “100000% bens kid.”
In response to all of the speculation, she shared a photo of her sleeping child via Twitter and joked, “For the record, the only thing this handsome guy has in common with any chef is the tendency to get emotional around meal times.”
Although the former chief stewardess has made it adamantly clear that Robinson is not her son’s father, she has yet to reveal his identity.

Chastain announced in December 2022 that she was pregnant with her first child and gushed to Andy Cohen about her plans to parent solo.
“I’m happy to do it alone,” she said on “Watch What Happens Live.” “I think being a chief stew really trained me for it.”
Chastain and Robinson are long time friends who have admitted to hooking up between Seasons 2 and 3 of “Below Deck.” However, Robinson has been in a serious relationship with Kiara Cabral since 2020.
As for Chastain, the Bravo star last publicly dated soccer player Ro Hernandez in 2016.
