HGTV’s Erin Napier shows off husband Ben’s ‘hardcore’ weight loss transformation
HGTV star Erin Napier showed off the results of her husband Ben’s “hardcore” weight loss journey on social media this week.
Erin, who co-hosts “Home Town” with Ben, posted a video that revealed his new physique and explained it was all to get in shape ahead of a major surgery.
“@scotsman.co got hardcore about his health and fitness last winter ahead of his big shoulder surgery that was in march so he could sleep better on his back and lower his BP,” Erin captioned the video.
“mission accomplished 🔥.”
In the video, Ben is seen looking chic in a button down and a pair of chinos. Folding a sport coat over his arm, the host poses confidently while Jim Croce’s “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim” plays in the background.
Ben, 39, responded in the comments asking to be featured again in People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue.
“What ya think, @people? Can I make the top 50 again? 😏 That’s my real motivation,” referring to his place on the 2021 list.

Although preparing for surgery was a huge motivator, Ben also told the “Today” show that he wanted to improve his overall health for his daughters, 5-year-old Helen and 2-year-old Mae, so he lost 65 pounds.
“Bringing Helen home and getting to experience those first few weeks with her and seeing how fast things change with children, it got my attention,” he shared.
“She was different every day, and I want to experience as much of her life as possible. I want a long life so I can be there for Erin and Helen.”
Erin, 37, has been showing her support for her husband throughout his entire journey and even gifted fans a thirst trap of her husband working on a crafting project shirtless.
