Shakira and NBA star Jimmy Butler fuel dating rumors with ‘cozy’ dinner in London
Shakira has sparked dating rumors with a high-profile athlete — and it’s not Lewis Hamilton.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer stepped out with Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler for a “low-key” dinner date in London Wednesday night, an eyewitness tells Page Six.
Shakira, who was reportedly romancing Formula 1 driver Hamilton just last month, was seen arriving at Novikov Restaurant & Bar shortly after 10 p.m., around the same time as Butler.
Although they attempted to keep a low profile while entering the swanky Asian and Italian eatery, we’re told the pair also left just minutes apart around 1:30 a.m.
The 33-year-old NBA All-Star’s security detail even helped the Grammy winner, 46, get into her “chauffeur-driven car from the fire exit of the restaurant,” the spy tells us.
The onlooker also divulges that Shakira and Butler looked “cozy” inside the celebrity hotspot, where they ate sushi and sipped on cocktails.
The “Whenever, Wherever” singer stunned in a denim jumpsuit for the midweek meal, adding a pair of strappy black sandals and a slick of pink lipstick.
Shakira also carried a small black purse and styled her golden tresses in her iconic bouncy curls.
Meanwhile, Butler kept it cool in a black tee, black velour pants and bright white sneakers.
He accessorized the otherwise simple ensemble with a red bandanna, silver stud earrings and a matching necklace, along with a gold watch.
Page Six has reached out to reps for the duo for comment.
In June, Shakira watched Butler’s team take on the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals.
They reportedly began following each other on Instagram after the game. However, their dinner date across the pond marked their first public outing together.
Shakira, who is single after her headline-making split from Gerard Piqué last year, was most recently linked to Hamilton.
“They’re spending time together and in the ‘getting to know you’ stage,” a source close to both parties told People last month. “It’s fun and flirty.”
The Latin superstar and the British racer, 38, were first seen boating in Miami in May before grabbing dinner in Barcelona after the Spanish Grand Prix.
Hamilton wrapped his arm around Shakira’s waist while smiling for a group snap, which also featured musician Mustafa the Poet and Kendall Jenner’s pal Fai Khadra.
The “Waka Waka” performer is dating around one year after announcing her separation from Piqué, with whom she shares two sons, Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8.
The former soccer player, 36, allegedly cheated on Shakira with his now-girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, which the hitmaker reportedly discovered after noticing her jam supply was dwindling while she was out of town.

Butler, for his part, welcomed a daughter named Rylee in 2019 with model Kaitlin Nowak.
They confirmed their relationship while attending the 2020 Super Bowl together, and he spoke about the struggles of parenting in the public eye the following year.
“I think one of the hardest things about being a celebrity is that you can’t go be a parent from time to time,” the pro baller told the Wall Street Journal.
“I hate that I can’t take my daughter to the zoo because everyone wants to talk basketball or take a photo.”
It’s unclear whether Butler and Nowak are still romantically involved.
