Ramona Singer’s daughter, Avery, addresses career challenges and ‘RHONY’

First-world problems.

Ramona Singer’s daughter, Avery Singer, claims she can’t get a job in finance because of her time on “The Real Housewives of New York City” — and fans were not happy.

“I have taken a backseat from the show for an extremely long time because I worked at Morgan Stanley,” she told David Yontef on his podcast, Behind the Velvet Rope, this week.

“Like most of my finance career, I couldn’t get jobs because of me being associated with the TV show.”

In fact, Avery went on to criticize the Bravo kids who use their parents’ fame for their own benefit.

“There are many Bravo kids that ride their mom’s coattails that are like a wannabe Kylie Jenner, all duck-faced, posting,” she added without naming any names.

The former reality TV star wanted to distance herself from the rest of the “Housewives” so badly that she refuses to watch any of the shows airing on Bravo these days.

“I don’t watch Bravo period. I’ve never seen a lot of the shows,” she told Yontef. “I’m now starting a company and I did most of that by myself.”

Following her remarks, many Bravo fans took to social media, specifically Reddit, to call out Ramona’s only daughter. Many even noted that she used Bravo to promote her company, Bach Boss, a luxury party planning concierge.

“It’s rich that she’s hating on Bravo when she went on [Watch What Happens Live] to shill her “boss babe” Bach party business,” one user wrote.

Another one added, “I doubt the average employer would even know who Ramona Singer is, let alone her daughter.”

Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives’?

While a third teased, “Ugh, so oppressed 😔😔😔💕💕💕💕”

“I know of adult children of well known parents that have worse reputations then Ramona who have been able to make good lives for themselves. People are surprisingly sympathetic and offer opportunities to kids with sh—y parents. This is personal. If she isn’t getting interviews – they don’t like her,” a fourth chimed in.

Ramona, 66, was one of the original women cast on “RHONY” and she appeared on the show for 13 seasons before she exited in 2021. Avery, for her part, grew up in front of the cameras for the first nine seasons before she ultimately stopped filming.

Despite calling “RHONY” the “loser show” after her exit, Singer will appear in Peacock’s “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.”
