‘Out of touch’ Bethenny Frankel dragged for flaunting massive engagement ring: ‘Wealth Whispers’
Bethenny Frankel is facing backlash after showing off her massive engagement ring from fiancé Paul Bernon.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum was accused of being “braggy” on Tuesday when she posted an Instagram video comparing the 10-carat emerald-cut sparkler to smaller diamond rings.
While the social media upload included the lyrics, “One margarita I’mma open my legs / Two margaritas I’mma give him some head,” the track went silent as Frankel showed the biggest bauble, which she has worn since Bernon’s 2021 proposal.
“Kind of scared about what this might mean for me…” she joked.
Although the former Bravolebrity appeared to be making light of her jewelry situation, trolls were quick to label the Skinnygirl CEO “out of touch” in the comments.
“Why would you post this? Bragging much? How do you think you make others feel who have just one carat or less?” one hater wrote.
“I know your rich as s–t…but why flaunt in front of the world your s–t!” a second follower added.
“I have a huge diamond too but Im never showy about it or try to show off what I own,” a third chimed in, while another wrote, “Money Talks……Wealth Whispers. Eeek.”
Another concerned netizen referred to Kim Kardashian’s $4 million engagement ring robbery in 2016, writing, “Love Bethenny. Just a little ick here. It’s beautiful. It’s very, very large. And I’m happy for her and she can carry it off. But this is just too braggy. And not that safe to post. Look at what happened to Kim 🤷🏻♀️.”

The former reality star replied to one followers’ negative comment, writing, “Seems like it makes you feel jealous. Talk to a professional.”
Other social media users took Frankel’s side, applauding her for exhibiting her impressive diamond collection and telling her to “bring on the bling.”
“Gosh, I love you 😂😂😂😂 . Beautiful ring, you don’t have to do anything for it but be your own amazing self 👏,” one fan gushed.
“Mention it all!!!” a “RHONY” viewer joked, quoting Frankels’ famous line from the Bravo show.
Frankel’s flashy video comes as a surprise considering she often posts videos of cheap drugstore-brand makeup and discount shopping options.
However, she recently gave a tour of her $6.2 million Hamptons estate.
Bernon, 45, and Frankel got engaged in March 2021, with the ring estimated to be worth seven figures.
The news of her engagement came just hours after her divorce from Jason Hoppy was finalized. The former couple, who split in 2012, share 13-year-old daughter Bryn.
