Valerie Bertinelli reveals whether she plans to ‘start dating again’ after Tom Vitale divorce

She’s taking it “One Day at a Time.”

Valerie Bertinelli doesn’t have any romantic dates on her calendar following her divorce from Tom Vitale.

The actress, 63, posed a TikTok video Sunday with the caption, “When someone asks if I’ll start dating again soon…”

In the clip, Bertinelli smiles and then shakes her head as she proceeds to lip-synch to an audio that says, “F–k no.”

The “Hot in Cleveland” alum was flooded with supportive messages from fans in the comments section of her post.

“Why do people think we have to have a man in our lives? No Thank You. They are way more trouble than they are worth at this point in my life,” one person wrote.

“F–k no is right ….” a netizen agreed.

“Do NOT date. These men cannot provide what you need. Get to a place where you can do anything alone. There, you will find complete contentment. 😊” a third commented.

“Being with another human should never define you,” another added.

Bertinelli filed to legally separate from Vitale in November 2021 after nearly 10 years of marriage. She then requested a divorce in May 2022.

To further cut him out of her life, the Golden Globe winner famously put her wedding ring and Jimmy Choo sandals from their wedding ceremony up for sale.

Bertinelli’s divorce from Vitale was finalized in November 2022, which she subsequently called the “second best day of her life.”

“My lawyer just called. The papers are all signed. They’re about to be filed,” she said in a video at the time. “On 11/22/22, I am officially f–king divorced. Happily divorced. Finally. It’s finally over.”

The exes reached a settlement that involved Bertinelli having to fork over more than $2.2 million to Vitale in order to solidify the end of their marriage.

On New Year’s Day this year, the Food Network star celebrated being “free.”

“I have no idea what’s ahead for me and I’m not worried. I’m free. This new years day, 2023, is the first day of the rest of my life,” she shared at the time.

In February, Bertinelli revealed she was in therapy to work on her trauma from a past toxic relationship, in which her “narcissist” ex called her “fat and lazy.”

Bertinelli — who shares 32-year-old son Wolfgang with her late ex-husband, Eddie Van Halen — didn’t clarify which former partner she was referring to, though many of her followers surmised it was Vitale.
