Jeremy Allen White’s estranged wife details ‘f–king hard’ single mom life
Addison Timlin is detailing the “f–king hard” life of being a “single mom” in light of her divorce from Jeremy Allen White.
The “Californication” actress shared an Instagram carousel of photos on Mother’s Day of her two kids and said being alone was “not the natural order of things.”
“Being a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so f–king hard. It is all out covered in s–t crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard,” she began her lengthy caption.
“Its [sic] not the natural order of things. It can be exhausting but more than anything it can just be so lonely,” she continued.
“When something magical happens and you have to tell yourself ‘don’t forget this’ because theres no witness by your side. It’s so painful.”
Despite the “lows,” Timlin, 31, gushed about the “staggering heights” moments with her children have provided her.
“To live with young children is an eyes wide open, wondrous and joyful place to be, it’s to be surrounded by a daily expression of their authentic selves and I wonder if without their example I would have been able to do the same,” she pondered.

Timlin explained that “being a mom” was the “only thing” she wanted to do with her life and poured out her heart over getting to be daughters Ezer and Dolores’ mother.
“Doing it alone has given me more strength and more empathy and more tears than anything else in my life ever has. So thank you to everyone that has helped me in these last 9 months,” she wrote, seemingly alluding to the fact that she and “The Bear” star may have split long before news of the divorce broke.
“It feels good. Happy Mother’s Day ya’ll.”
Timlin filed for divorce from White, 32, last week after nearly three years of marriage. The reason for the split remains unclear, as the court documents didn’t indicate a specific cause.
Although Timlin specifically called out the “last 9 months” in her caption, the “That Awkward Moment” actress attended the Golden Globes with him in January.
“Daddy winned ❤️,” she commented beneath his victory photo.
She also shared her own photo and gushed about her award-winning husband in a lengthy caption.
The “Shameless” alum and Timlin announced they were expecting their first child in June 2018 and welcomed Ezer, now 4, that October.
They married in an intimate courthouse ceremony a year later after first meeting as teenagers.
In December 2020, Dolores, 2, was born.
