J.Crew isn’t hiking up the price on Meghan Markle’s hiking jacket.
Amid the retailer’s extensive sales right now, the updated version of the Duchess of Sussex’s Perfect Lightweight Jacket (from $110, originally $188) is nearly $80 off.
While Markle paired the original version of the style with a symbolic crystal necklace for a hike last weekend, it’s been a favorite for much longer.
She was first spotted in the budget-friendly parka during her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, when she paired the water-repellent topper with a white button-up.
The new version — also available in white, blue and black — is similarly designed to brave the elements, featuring a longer hem for “splash protection” and a hood with an extended collar for rainy and windy days.

Jackets aren’t the only J.Crew styles in which Markle’s made a splash over the years, as she’s also sported on-sale pieces like the Convertible Leather Clogs ($123, originally $198) — which she wore in Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan” docuseries last year.
Also among the company’s on-sale offerings at the moment? The Perfect Fit Shelf Bra Tank ($25, originally $35), which she sported for her “Archetypes” podcast cover, and the 9-Inch High-Rise Toothpick Jeans ($100, originally $128) which she wore in New Zealand in 2018.
Markle’s not the only royal family member hooked on J.Crew’s accessibly priced pieces, either; Kate Middleton’s rocked several now-sold-out styles over the years, while Prince Harry owns the Ludlow suit in at least four colors.
Demi Moore, meanwhile, is so obsessed with her “favorite” J.Crew Vintage Cotton V-Neck T-Shirt ($20, originally $35) that she once told InStyle she buys the item in bulk in case it’s ever discontinued.
With prices slashed on so many styles, now could be the perfect time to follow Moore’s lead.
