Andy Cohen reveals what he texted Kim Zolciak following divorce bombshell
Andy Cohen revealed that he “texted a little bit” with Kim Zolciak following the shocking news that she filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann.
“[I] sent my condolences, because it’s a sad thing,” the Bravo honcho said on Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”
“They have kids, and that was just a couple that seemed very much in love.”
The former couple share four children: Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia.
“I did not see it coming,” Cohen, 54, admitted. “I was very surprised. That was not the news I ever expected to get.”
Cohen added that the two “seemed so much in love.”
“They were a couple that I thought they were in it for the long haul,” he continued. “Very surprised, sorry to hear that.”
The “Daddy Diaries” author joined a slew of other Bravolebrities commenting on the split between the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 44, and former NFL star, 37.
“Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent called the divorce “devastating,” arguing that the decision supports her theory that “no partner” is the way to go.
“I can control me. I can’t control other people, right? When you tell me, ‘Here’s an intimate partner, you guys get along, maybe you’ll last forever, maybe they’ll tell you everything all the time,’ that says to me, ‘Liability,’” Kent said on via her Instagram Stories Monday.

Meanwhile, former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel slammed Zolciak and Biermann amid reports that they owe the IRS more than $1 million.
“Pay your bills. Don’t front & stunt. All show & no go #payyourbills,” Frankel said Monday in a TikTok video.
A source close to Zolciak told People that their financial woes played a major role in her decision to file. “The money has been a huge issue,” the insider said. “The million-dollar tax [payment] was just way too much pressure on them.”
Just hours before news of their divorce broke, TMZ reported that the duo owed a little more than $1 million for unpaid taxes, interest and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018.
Zolciak – who is also mom to daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21, from previous relationships – wed her now-estranged husband on Nov. 11, 2011.
Neither Zolciak nor Biermann have addressed the split or alleged financial problems.
