Ireland Baldwin tricks Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff and more stars into thinking she gave birth
They had to paws for a minute.
Pregnant Ireland Baldwin bamboozled her friends and followers into thinking that she gave birth to her first child with RAC in a hilarious video posted to her Instagram Sunday.
Baldwin, 27, posted a clip of her musician boyfriend carrying a baby carrier from behind while he walked toward their home as a cover of the song “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri played.
The sweet moment prompted many viewers to believe the couple had welcomed their first child together.
But the video then pans to the inside of the carrier where their adorable dachshund was resting comfortably in the seat.
Several of her famous friends expressed their confusion and were quick to call out Baldwin for trolling them with the misleading clip.
“Ok ya really got me you punk,” Hilary Duff, 35, commented on the post.
“YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME,” her cousin Alaia Baldwin, 30, wrote.
“U got me,” Hannah Berner, 31, added.
“The way I fell for this and commented congrats mama then realized and deleted my comment EMBARRASSED 😂,” influencer Sarah Nicole Landry wrote.
Meanwhile, Paris Hilton didn’t seem to pick up on the puppy prank and fully celebrated Baldwin becoming a mom.
“Congratulations love!” Hilton, 42, wrote.
Lydia Hearst, 38, also fell for the trick, commenting, “Congratulations!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Other fans of Baldwin also expressed their shock when they saw a dog instead of a newborn in the carrier.
“Stop my heart was racing so fast,” one netizen commented.

Baldwin announced she was expecting her first child with RAC, 38, on New Year’s Eve 2022.
The eldest daughter of Alec Baldwin, 65, has been candid about her struggles with pregnancy and called the experience “mental warfare.”
In January, Ireland revealed that she and RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos, are expecting a girl and will be naming her Holland.
“I’m Ireland, so [we chose] another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent,” she said on “GirlBoss Radio” at the time.
Two months later, she celebrated her pregnancy with a wild baby shower that involved a strip club-themed “baby blowout” where guests included her mom Kim Basinger, 69, Sailor Brinkley Cook, 24, and Rumer Willis, 34, and Duff.
