Al Roker bangs his head on the wall over Savannah, Hoda, Jenna decluttering segment

He’s not a fan of spring … cleaning.

“Today” show weatherman Al Roker banged his head against the wall and declared “nobody cares” about his co-hosts Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Jenna Bush Hager’s tidying habits.

During a segment on the NBC morning show Thursday, the trio of women went on multiple hilarious tangents about decluttering their own lives.

Hager, 41, said her daughter wanted to buy a leash to “walk the cat,” however she has a rule about waiting five days before purchasing new items, so the leash remained in her shopping cart.

Meanwhile, Kotb, 58, likened decluttering to getting “a boyfriend.”

“You have to make space for the new thing,” she began.

“If you want something new in your life, make room for it. Clear out something and let it in.”

The trio had a hilarious exchange that took several twists and turns. NBC

Hager then chimed back in to discuss her kids’ daily chores, which included flushing the toilet.

As the camera cut to Roker, 68, he looked at his fellow TV personalities with disbelief.

“Oh my god,” he said, as he facepalmed.

“What, you don’t like what we’re saying?” Hager asked, to which Roker responded, “I don’t remember. You decluttered my mind, I can’t think of anything.”

“Sheesh,” he added, before walking to the side of his weather screen and banging his head against the wall three times.

“I’m speaking for every guy out there, nobody cares.”

“This was the BEST segment this morning! I laughed out loud when cut to Al for the weather. I was glued to the tv watching the women’s conversation, then Al’s reaction was priceless,” one Twitter user wrote,

A second person chimed in, “His reaction was HYSTERICAL! I laughed out loud, then told my hubs and he laughed too. SO SO funny!”

However, not everyone was on board with his reaction.

Hager even revealed her kids are tasked with cleaning the toilet as part of their chores. NBC

“[Roker] can be so brazenly condescending at times (plus he rarely thinks anyone else is funny but just loves his own jokes.) Even if this segment went off the tracks, he couldn’t find a more tactful way handle it?” one viewer commented on Twitter.

This wasn’t the first time in recent weeks that Roker’s reaction to a segment caused a stir.

The beloved weatherman went viral last month when he was left speechless by Jameela Jamil’s story about her “first-ever booty call.”
