S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole dead at 46

S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole died Thursday, the pop group announced. He was 46.

“We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel,” S Club 7 said in a statement on social media Friday.

“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.”

The message ended by saying Cattermole would be “deeply missed” by everyone and asked for privacy.

A separate statement from his family said Cattermole was found at his home in Dorset, England, and later pronounced dead.

The family said the cause of death is unknown.

The news comes nearly two months after the “Never Had a Dream Come True” singers announced they would be reuniting for a tour to mark 25 years since their formation.

“Obviously, we’re bringing the nostalgia. Obviously we’re bringing the late ’90s, early [2000s], so it’s a lot of fun. It’s very positive, our music, very positive,” Bradley McIntosh said on the BBC’s “The One Show” in February.

“And I think in today’s times you need a bit of positive, you need a bit of picking up, so that’s what we’re here to do.”

The group had scheduled 11 tour dates, but they were only taking place throughout Europe. It’s not yet known whether S Club 7 will proceed with the tour.

Cattermole was last photographed happily dancing in the woods Wednesday, just one day before his death, after confirming he and longtime love — and bandmate — Hannah Spearritt had reconciled their relationship.

Although Cattermole had not posted on Instagram since March 16, fans began to flood his posts with condolences Friday.
