Khloé Kardashian subtly shades Tristan Thompson on birthday: I hope you ‘crave change’
Khloé Kardashian used Tristan Thompson’s birthday to send him a not-so-subtle message.
In Monday’s Instagram tribute to the father of her two children, the reality star told the 32-year-old basketball player that her “wish” for him is to “continue to crave change, healing, and transformation.”
Despite the exes’ rocky past — which includes numerous public cheating scandals — Kardashian, 38, still made it a point to show Thompson some love on his special day.
“Happy birthday @realtristan13,” she began her caption, which she posted alongside photos and videos of the NBA star with their daughter True, 4, and a rare glimpse of their 7-month-old son. (They have not yet announced his name.)
The 10-slide carousel also featured Thompson with his nieces and nephews as well as his late mother, Andrea, who died suddenly of a heart attack in January.
“You are truly the best father, brother & uncle,” Kardashian gushed. “Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles.”

The Good American founder — who began dating the athlete in 2016 — also encouraged him to “be strong, be kind, be patient, be free” and “continue to make your soul and your mommy proud.”
“Happy birthday baby daddy,” she concluded, going on to disable the comments.
Kardashian’s momager, Kris Jenner, also publicly wished Thompson a happy birthday, calling him a “special part of [their] family” via her Instagram Story.
Thompson is also dad to son Prince, 6, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, and 1-year-old son Theo, whose mother is Maralee Nichols.
After several bouts of infidelity — including mere days before True was born — Kardashian dumped Tristan “Third Trimester” Thompson for good in December 2021 after news broke that Nichols was pregnant. The pair had already hired a surrogate to carry their baby boy.
After the Chicago Bulls center-forward lost his mom, Khloé, Jenner and Kim Kardashian flew to Toronto to attend the funeral.
Though Khloé’s appearance at the memorial service sparked rumors the former flames had reconciled, she insisted she was still single.
Thompson, however, seems to wish things were different, as he’s been caught “liking” a multitude of his once-girlfriend’s sexy snaps.
Last week, the co-parents were spotted celebrating Malika and Khadijah Haqq’s 40th birthday, though it’s unclear if they were at the party together.
