‘Formerly retired’ Wendy Williams working on ‘several projects’ after health woes

Wendy Williams has a lot on her plate these days now that she’s “formerly retired.”

A rep for the former talk show host tells Page Six exclusively that Williams’ yet-to-be-lauched podcast is still in the works — as are other unknown projects.

“Right now Wendy is working on several projects. … She is ready to get things rolling and get back to being Wendy Williams,” Shawn Zanotti tells us, confirming, “Yes, the podcast is still in the works.”

The news of “several projects” comes after a report that said the “Wendy Williams Show” alum is focused “on her overall wellness” these days now that she’s ready to get back to work.

Williams herself recently told a photographer that she is “formerly retired” and wants to appear on shows including “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “The View.”

As Page Six exclusively revealed last week, Williams was seen filming a mystery project of her own inside Fresco by Scotto.

“Basically it was a regular night … and then all of the sudden the Wendy Williams train arrived,” a source told us of the scene.

“She had a huge crew that basically turned Fresco by Scotto into a movie set … approximately 30 people in the crew. Lights, cameras, audio, producers, etc. [It] looked like a reality show.”

The source continued, “One of the ‘scenes’ was Wendy having dinner with a friend. Wendy came into the dining room with her big personality waving at all the guests, like they were extras in her movie.”

Photos of Williams, 58, outside the eatery showed she was wearing a combo of designer logos for her “film” debut.

Page Six reported in September 2022 that Williams, who has publicly battled alcoholism, had checked back into a treatment facility after a relapse.

She left rehab in October, with her rep telling us that she was “home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August.”

“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects,” a statement added at the time.
