‘Boy Meets World’ star Ben Savage is engaged to Tessa Angermeier
That’s not Topanga!
“Boy Meets World” star Ben Savage announced Wednesday that he and his girlfriend, Tessa Angermeier, are engaged.
The former child star shared a photo on Instagram of himself and Angermeier, who is seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, standing in front of a body of water in Owensville, Ind., and wrote, “The best is yet to come.”
Savage’s comments section was filled with congratulations, including a shout-out from Danica McKellar, who co-starred on “The Wonder Years” with his brother, Fred Savage.
“John Tucker Must Die” actress Arielle Kebbel also chimed in with three heart emojis.
The duo, who began dating in 2018, have kept their romance out of the spotlight — Angermeier is also private on Instagram — for the majority of their romance.

Although the couple spent Christmas in California, it looks like they made their way to Indiana shortly thereafter. Perhaps it was over the holidays that Savage popped the question to his longtime partner.
“Tis the season,” Ben, 42, captioned a selfie of the pair after loading a Christmas tree on top of their car.

“Hope you had the hap hap happiest Christmas,” he wrote alongside a second picture two weeks later.
The “Girl in the Shed” star rose to fame in 1993 when he starred as Cory Matthews on ABC’s “Boy Meets World” alongside Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle.
Although the series ended after seven years, Ben and Fishel, 41, reprised their roles for the Disney Channel spinoff “Girl Meets World” with Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter nearly 15 years later.
