Gisele Bündchen glitters in gold on first red carpet since Tom Brady divorce
Gisele Bündchen is going for gold.
The supermodel stepped out for a glittering jewelry event last night in her native country of Brazil — and the mom of two made a head-turning statement in a gold gown for her first red carpet event since divorcing Tom Brady.
Wearing a metallic gold dress with crisscross straps and an ab cutout by local designer Reinaldo Lourenço, Bündchen, 42, was all smiles as she attended a bash in São Paulo for jewelry brand Vivara — of which she is the face — for their 60th anniversary.
The runway star accessorized with a statement necklace, drop earrings and a gold bracelet, added a gold clutch and matching open-toed heels.
She appeared in high spirits at the event — which was also attended by fellow Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model Lais Ribeiro — sharing several videos and a photo on her Instagram Story and giving cameras a thumbs up on the red carpet.
Her golden goddess moment comes after Bündchen and Brady, 45, finalized their divorce in October. The pair — who were married for 13 years — share a 13-year-old son, Benjamin, and 10-year-old daughter, Vivian.
Sharing that the two had “grown apart,” the Victoria’s Secret Angel said in a statement that “my priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart.”
Brady also shared his own thoughts on the split on Instagram, writing that while the decision was “painful and difficult,” that both “wish only the best for each other.”
In September, an inside source told Page Six that “trouble in the marriage” had been going on after the NFL star’s “decision to un-retire.”
“They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind,” the source said.
Before her glam jewelry party, the Brazilian beauty has been keeping a low profile — escaping for a fun birthday trip to Walt Disney World with her kids earlier this month.
And while she’s certainly focusing on family, the bombshell model isn’t likely to stay single for long; Gisele is rumored to be dating jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
No matter what, Bündchen will always sparkle on the red carpet.
