Hilaria Baldwin gave birth to six of her seven children — but that doesn’t mean daughter Lucia, who was born via surrogate, is “any less” hers.

During Sunday’s episode of her “Witches Anonymous” podcast, the yoga instructor spoke candidly about using a surrogate to welcome Lucia — who was born in February 2021 — following “two public miscarriages” in 2019.

After clarifying that “there are many different ways to become a parent,” she said, “I don’t have a difference between my daughter that was born via surrogacy and my six other children that I carried.”

“There’s no difference,” the 38-year-old insisted. “And people assume that I’m less of a mom, that she’s less of my daughter. … She is just as attached to me as all my other ones.”

Hilaria — who welcomed her seventh child with husband Alec Baldwin, 64, this past September — noted, “We’re considered to be breeders in many ways — and this is me, who has seven kids — but I understand that the historical connection of women is breeder. And if you cannot breed in the traditional way, or you do not want to breed in the traditional way, people think that they have a right to talk about it.”

The podcaster went on to share that she was “shamed” for choosing “the surrogacy route,” as many made her feel like an “outcasted person” because she had carried successfully many times before.

“They don’t know my story because I have yet to share it with people,” she explained. “And one of the reasons I didn’t share it with people is they were not very nice about it. It made me so sad — the feeling of judgment. And on such innocence.”

She said she and Alec recently looked “through some articles that were written about” her and Lucia when she was born, noting that she felt many of the reporters “took the time to write about [Lucia’s] validity — not just as part of the family, but also her validity in terms of existing.”

“They’re questioning whether I should’ve done that, which therefore is questioning whether she should exist,” Hilaria argued.

As for her surrogate’s identity, the devoted mom said she is “not going to say the name of [her] surrogate because that is not what she wants.”

However, Hilaria claimed the two have an “amazing” relationship and “talk almost every single day.”

“We’re so close and went through such amazing transformations together,” she shared.

The “Living Clearly Method” author also revealed that “hearing from a surrogate” is what made her “want to go through with the process.”
