Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, pregnant wife Lauren reveal second baby’s sex
It’s a girl!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his pregnant wife, Lauren Sorrentino, revealed the sex of their second baby on Wednesday.
“ITS OFFICIAL! We have a Situation!! It’s a Girl,” the “Jersey Shore” alum tweeted alongside a photo of himself and Lauren, 37, posing for a picture with a pink feather boa.
“Baby coming January 2023,” he concluded.
Mike, 40, and Lauren, 37, are already the parents of 1-year-old son Romeo, whom they welcomed in May 2021.
In August of the following year, the “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” stars revealed their toddler’s upcoming big brother status.
“We have an amazing announcement!!” the couple captioned a joint social media upload. “We’re a growing family! Baby on the way 🤰🏼 … God is Good 🙏🏼.”
The duo have been married since November 2018, tying the knot two months before Mike began serving time for tax evasion. He was released from prison in September 2019.
The MTV personalities immediately conceived a child upon Mike’s release but ultimately suffered a miscarriage.
“It was hard,” Lauren said during a November 2019 “Strahan, Sara & Keke” appearance of the pregnancy loss. “It was really difficult.”
One year later, the couple announced that Romeo was on the way with a Christmas cookie-themed reveal.
The pair celebrated their growing family while ringing in their fourth wedding anniversary earlier this month.
“Four years of marriage with you and we’ve already doubled our size in love🤰🏼!” Lauren captioned a touching Instagram tribute. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our beautiful and blessed family.”
In a post of his own, Mike wrote that he and the Skincare by Laurens founder have been “living [their] dream” since tying the knot.
“FOUR BEAUTIFUL YEARS of marriage, a beautiful Son & another baby on the way,” he gushed.
