Cuba Gooding Jr. is no longer drinking for now, but the Academy Award-winning actor still loves the nightlife.

On Wednesday, he and girlfriend Claudine De Niro were spotted at New York hot spot The Nines, where he “politely declined” a female patron’s offer to buy them a drink.

An overzealous, tipsy woman approached their booth and insisted she and Gooding were old pals. The woman even offered proof by “showing him photos of other people, and one she took with him, but he didn’t know her,” a spy told Page Six.

She offered to buy his party drinks, but Gooding Jr. responded, “No, thank you. I don’t drink anymore,” according to the source.

The “Boyz n the Hood” star was ordered to complete six months of alcohol and behavior modification counseling as part of a plea agreement in his forcible touching case back in April. Sources told us he has continued to avoid the booze.

Meanwhile, he was good sport at The Nines. The “pushy” uninvited woman brought over some of her pals to join their booth and, “Cuba was being nice about it,” the source said.

The woman caused quite the scene when she pulled out her phone and started recording the “Jerry Maguire” star. That’s when “he was like, ‘I’m sorry. Time to get up,'” the source said.

The couple’s actual friends later joined them, presumably to get an early start on celebrating the verdict in his sex abuse case.

On Thursday, his criminal record was wiped clean, which angered his victims who accused him of groping and forcibly touching them on separate occasions at New York clubs.

It seems the actor is ready to put it all behind him and get back to acting. Sources told us he flew to St. Martin on Friday to start filming a new project.

A rep for Gooding did not get back to us.
