Kate Middleton wears vintage Chanel blazer for sporty outing with Prince William

Kate Middleton joined Prince William for a visit to London’s Olympic Park today to celebrate the 10th anniversary of sports charity Coach Core, and the princess wowed royal fashion fans by bringing out a vintage Chanel blazer for the occasion.
Her cobalt blue tweed blazer is a 1995 piece from the French fashion house, and if you’re a size 36 FR you’re in luck — one of the pre-owned jackets is available at Farfetch for a mere $6,268.
Pairing the buttoned-up jacket with wide-legged black trousers, the 40-year-old royal met with young participants as well as officials from the organization, which was originally launched by the Royal Foundation in 2012 when London hosted the Olympic Games.
Middleton coupled the look with dainty gems for today’s event, choosing simple gold hoops from Spells of Love ($68) and a lapis lazuli necklace from Astley Clarke ($185).
Although she’s carried a Chanel bag in the past, this is only the second time she’s worn an outfit by the designer, and both outings had sporty connections.
Back in 2017, the then-Duchess of Cambridge rocked a stunning multicolored tweed Chanel dress for a visit to Paris, playing rugby with young children in Tod’s pumps while wearing the elegant outfit.
She also carried a top-handled Chanel bag worth more than $4,000 for the first time on the Paris trip, later bringing it back for a visit to the National History Museum in London — and pairing it with a $50 Warehouse sweater.
It seems the mom of three has been a fan of mixing up her blazers as of late; earlier this week she paired a puffed heart necklace with a $40 jacket from Zara earlier this week to record a BBC Radio program for World Mental Health Day.
