Ed Sheeran gifted Sam Smith a 6-foot marble penis statue
Ed Sheeran has a “Bad Habit” when it comes to gift giving.
Musician Sam Smith revealed the “Shape Of You” singer has gifted them — and several other people — statues of penises.
“It’s actually wild. I thought it was a joke, but it’s a 6-foot-2 marble penis,” Smith said, when asked about the unique “trophy” during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of the “Kelly Clarkson Show.”
“It’s two tons, and I’m gonna have to get it craned into my house,” the singer added.
As for where they will put the large, phallic gift, Smith, 30, said they want to turn it into a water fountain, “which I think will be hard to do.”
Clarkson then joked that “the Duke of Hastings,” an apparent reference to the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton,” would be an appropriate moniker for the oversized sculpture. “It sounds grand and 6’2,” she added.
Smith also revealed Sheeran, 31, was infamous for “giving people concrete penises” and that “Elton [John] was first.”
The “Tiny Dancer” chart-topper told Australian radio show the “Carrie and Tommy Show” in 2021 that he received the unusual present for his 74th birthday.
“I suggested to [husband] David [Furnish] that I should put it in the garden. And he said, ‘No, we have children,’” he said, noting that it was now “hidden in an area in the house where they wouldn’t see it.”
“But it’s a beautifully made penis. What can I tell you?” John said. “What do you buy the man who has everything? A huge marble penis!”
Following the interview, Sheeran gifted Bickmore and Little their own giant penis.
When he isn’t mailing both friends, and acquaintances alike, phallic gifts, Sheeran is kept busy by his two young daughters.
He announced on Instagram earlier this year that he and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, secretly welcomed a second baby girl named Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran.
Their eldest daughter, Lyra Antarctica, was born in September 2020.
