Blink-182 announce reunion tour with band co-founder Tom DeLonge

Say it ain’t so!

Blink-182 surprised fans by announcing that they are reuniting for a massive world tour and will put out a new song this week.

Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge will be coming together for the first time in nearly 10 years to perform new music in Latin America, North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, according to a press release.

The punk rockers also announced that they will be dropping their new single, “Edging,” this Friday, marking the first time in a decade that Barker, Hoppus and DeLonge have been in the studio together.

“We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming. Tickets on sale Monday. New song “Edging” out Friday,” Blink-182 wrote in a tweet on Tuesday.

Several Blinkies reacted with utter joy at the news that DeLonge, 46, would be joining the tour.

“Babe, wake up, blink-182 got back together and they’re going on tour,” one fan tweeted.

“A whole world tour! Tom you are awesome!!! 🛸,” a second person wrote.

Founding Blink-182 members DeLonge and Hoppus “repaired” their years-long friendship after Hoppus, 50, was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. DeLonge left the band in 2015.

Along the way, Blink-182 will perform at multiple festivals including Lollapalooza with headliners Drake and Billie Eilish, as well as the When We Were Young Festival alongside Green Day.
