Jenny Mollen needed Katie Couric to remind her to get her annual mammogram.

The actress documented her experience at the doctor on Friday after Couric, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, reminded her to get checked.

“I’m here to get my annual mammogram because Katie Couric texted me and told me that it was time,” Mollen, 43, said in an Instagram Story.

“I am a month late, I’m usually early, I’m usually all over this s–t. But this is the scariest day of the year for me, I always freak out.”

The mother of two revealed her husband, Jason Biggs, was there to calm her nerves after feeling like she was going to have a “panic attack” while waiting for her appointment.

Thankfully, the visit went well and Mollen shared a photo of her negative results in another Instagram Story.

The “Live Fast Die Hot” author followed her Story with a photo of her bare breasts being screened, which she jokingly captioned, “#OOTD” (outfit of the day).

Mollen was met with praise in the photo’s comments section for showing how easy getting the annual check-up is.

“Great job!!!! Squishing our ta-tas is SO IMPORTANT!!!!! 💕,” broadcast journalist Kit Hoover commented.

The 65-year-old journalist revealed in an essay published Wednesday that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in June after waiting six months to get her annual mammogram.

“I felt sick and the room started to spin,” she recalled of the moment she heard the news, before urging other women to get their mammograms.

“I can’t tell you how many times during this experience I thanked God that it was 2022. And how many times I silently thanked all the dedicated scientists who have been working their asses off to develop better ways to analyze and treat breast cancer,” the former “Today” host continued.

“But to reap the benefits of modern medicine, we need to stay on top of our screenings, advocate for ourselves, and make sure everyone has access to the diagnostic tools that could very well save their life.”

Although Mollen is breast cancer free, she revealed the doctors found a couple of cysts in her breast — which they assured her is common.
