Inside Offset and Anitta’s MTV VMAs 2022 afterparty
Rapper Offset held a wild party in the Magic Room at new members-only hotspot The Ned following the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards over the weekend.
We hear Emily Ratajkowski, who recently split from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, was on the scene, rocking a “super-short khaki denim miniskirt and ‘barely there’ patterned bodysuit.”
Guests also included Diplo, Badius, Jose Canseco, Murda Beatz, Marshmello, Lil Nas X and J Balvin, who performed “Nivel de Perreo” with Ryan Castro during the awards show.
Brazilian singer Anitta, who won a Moon Person during the show for Best Latin Artist for her hit “Envolver,” also played host at the afterparty, along with hospitality guru Richie Akiva.
Offset — a member of Migos and husband of Cardi B — gave a surprise performance, jumping on the mic as DJ Truth played some of his tracks, including “Ric Flair Drip.”
We hear the bash raged ’til 3:30 a.m. with bottle service “popping as the dance floor stayed packed,” says a partygoer, who notes the spot was full of “music industry VIPs, models and artists and their entourages.”
The Ned has become a hotspot since opening this summer at the former Nomad hotel. The Magic Room is its upstairs event space.
Last week, new parents Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were seen dining on the roof. A spy told Page Six they appeared “chill and definitely happy. She looked amazing.”
Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gigi Hadid and Julia Fox attended The Ned’s opening in June.
We also hear that Casey Affleck, Robin Thicke, Miguel and Evan Mock have all been by to check out the new space.
