Inside the Tony Awards 2022 afterparties

After the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday night, stars including Andrew Garfield, Ariana DeBose, Darren Criss and Zach Braff celebrated Broadway’s biggest shows with dramatic flair around town.

It was a “big ol’ lovefest” at the Times Square Edition hotel, sources tell Page Six exclusively, where the cast and crew of “A Strange Loop” hosted a party in the Terrace restaurant.

“Everyone was in high spirits … lots of hugging,” a source tells us of the team behind the musical, which was one of the 75th annual Tonys’ biggest winners.

VIPs included Sutton Foster, Billy Porter, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Danielle Brooks, Judith Light and Jennifer Hudson, the latter of whom achieved EGOT status after the show’s win as one of its producers.

Ferguson, who took home an award for his performance in “Take Me Out,” arrived with his trophy and “had a nice moment [with] Porter admiring it,” a spy tells us.

“Strange Loop” playwright Michael R. Jackson popped over after partying at Rockefeller Center’s swanky Pebble Bar, where Criss hosted a bash.

Braff was spotted “without a date and dancing up a storm,” another spy says. “He looked like he was having the best time.”

Porter was spotted there as well with Garfield and “Moulin Rouge” star Aaron Tveit.

Meanwhile, Tony host DeBose let loose at Pebble, where guests took over two floors. We’re told she was swarmed with congratulations on her evening. DeBose also hosted her own soiree at the Edition, where she stayed and got ready before the awards show.

Across town at the party for “Six,” Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, who won for Best Original Score, were given a round of applause as they entered Gustavino’s. Moss was later spotted leading a conga line while holding her award.

The cast of “MJ: The Musical” celebrated at Tavern on the Green.

And the official Tony afterparty was held at the Plaza, where Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff, Vanessa Hudgens, Tony Goldwyn, Candy Spelling and her pal Nikki Haskell made the rounds. “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star Michael Zagen got cozy during his first public outing with new girlfriend, Jennifer Damiano. They were spotted chatting to her former “Next to Normal” co-star Tveit at the Plaza.

Also at the party, Hudgens and Garfield were seen dancing the night away with some pals before leaving the Plaza around 1 a.m., where Michele also celebrated.
