Miranda Lambert skipping 2022 Grammys: ‘I’m slammed’

Don’t expect a Miranda Lambert sighting during Sunday’s 2022 Grammys.

The country singer confirmed she’s not attending the awards show in Las Vegas this year due to her overwhelming schedule.

“I’m not getting to go again … I’m slammed this month, with the record coming out and everything,” she told ABC Audio.

Lambert, 38, is gearing up for the release of her 10th overall studio album, “Palomino,” and her Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town.

She also just recently announced her upcoming “Velvet Rodeo” Las Vegas residency, scheduled to kick off this fall at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The Texas native is nominated for two Grammys this year: Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King and Best Country Album for “The Marfa Tapes.”

“We were on a group text this morning,” Lambert said, referring to Jon Randall and Jack Ingram who worked with her on the collaborative album. “I feel like I have FOMO.”

She added, “I got to play on the Grammys last year, and I got to take one home, and I was just so thankful. I’m grateful for what I already have.”

During last year’s ceremony, Lambert performed her hit song “Bluebird” and accepted the award for Best Country Album for “Wildcard.”

She turned heads on the red carpet in a stunning silver gown by Genny that was emblazoned with music notes and featured a plunging neckline.

“I thought it was appropriate, and I got to bring the girls out,” she joked of the cleavage-baring look in an interview with “Extra.”

“It’s been a while — we’ve been in quarantine.”

In other 2022 Grammys news, Halsey revealed via Instagram that they’ll be attending Sunday’s awards ceremony just four days after undergoing surgery.

“The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was 3 days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery,” the “Without Me” singer explained.

“I walked the carpet with my stitches still in 😅 As luck would have it, I’m attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again (you guessed it) 3 days ago.”

The 64th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, kick off Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
