Social-media superstar Jake Paul has split with his Instagram model girlfriend Julia Rose, Page Six has learned. More shocking still, it turns out the influencer-turned-boxer may have both thoughts and feelings.
There was much speculation that the pair were kaput last week when Paul tweeted, “Alexa, play ‘I’m Single’ by Jake Paul.” (He released a boldly terrible song of that name in 2019.)
But sources say Paul has been out and about in Miami telling pals that he and Rose are indeed done. “He’s devastated,” said the insider.
They added that the brave little soul has “moved on with other girls” but that “still in his heart she was the one.”
They added, “He would like to get back together with her and maybe they will, but they both need to slow down their lives.” It’s unclear how Rose would slow her life down, since — if her Instagram is to be believed — she seems to alternate between doing nothing and doing nothing on the beach.
Paul was spotted having what appeared to be a heart-to-heart talk with buddies at Miami Beach restaurant Papi Steak, according to spies.
The former Disney star, who is the brother of fellow social media juggernaut Logan Paul, started dating Rose a month or so after the end of his sham marriage to — you guessed it — social media star Tana Mongeau.
The ceremony was aired both as a $50 pay-per-view event and as part of Mongeau’s MTV reality show, “No Filter: Tana Mongeau.” But the pair reportedly didn’t have a marriage license, so the July 2019 wedding wasn’t legally valid.
The pair split in January 2020, and Paul started seeing Rose within a few weeks.
