Kelly Clarkson jokes she’s ‘so broken’ quarantining at home with kids

What doesn’t kill her makes her stronger.

Newly single Kelly Clarkson joked she feels “so broken” while stuck at home with her children as the COVID-19 pandemic drags on.

“I thought we were done with quarantining, and I’m so tired,” the singer, 39, said Tuesday while calling into “The Kelly Clarkson Show” as Taraji P. Henson filled in as her guest host.

“I broke a nail. I’m so broken. This is me broken,” she added with a laugh. “All my makeup is expired. America, this is what I look like. You’re welcome.”

An au naturel Clarkson made the virtual appearance on her daytime talk show in a silk robe with a sleep mask on top of her head.

“Sometimes women don’t rise. Sometimes we fall,” she quipped.

The “Miss Independent” singer did not share why she was isolating, though she assured viewers she was “not even sick.”

“It’s so weird,” she continued. “Anyway, we’re keeping it safe.”

Clarkson is mom to 7-year-old daughter River and 5-year-old son Remington with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

The former couple’s bitter divorce has yet to be finalized, but a judge declared them legally single in August 2021 after the “American Idol” Season 1 winner said in court documents obtained by People that she and Blackstock, 45, “both deserve the opportunity to build a new life.”

Clarkson filed for divorce from the former talent manager in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage.

The Grammy winner has since scored several legal wins, including having her prenuptial agreement upheld and being awarded ownership of the exes’ Montana ranch, but she has also had to fork over nearly $200,000 a month in spousal and child support.

Blackstock is also dad to 19-year-old daughter Savannah and 13-year-old son Seth with his first wife, Melissa Ashworth.
