Matthew Rondeau has taken dramatic steps in his relationship with Shanna Moakler — but won’t provide a clear explanation.
When asked by Page Six why he recently wiped photos of the former Playboy model from his Instagram, Rondeau cryptically told us, “Soon they will know.”
Rondeau erased all traces of Moakler from his account — and even unfollowed her — but given that she remains in the “Celebrity Big Brother” house, she is totally unaware that her relationship might be over.
The social media clear-out came after TMZ reported that Rondeau was reconsidering proposing to Moakler because of her bonding with Lamar Odom, who is also in the “CBB” house.
In one clip from the show, the reality star, 46, said while helping the former NBA player, 42, apply under-eye patches, “These are wetter, so just keep pushing,” to which he replied, “That’s always better.”
“Always better when it’s wetter. That’s my motto,” she added to their convo, dripping in sexual innuendo.
Rondeau, 29, is also allegedly hurt by Moakler using the same phrases he uses around her, finding it disrespectful. Meanwhile, Moakler has been gushing nonstop about her love for her beau, so it’s unclear why he’s taking such dramatic steps.
Perhaps former “CBB” housemate Teddi Mellencamp was right when she expressed concern about Rondeau after exiting the house, claiming he had slid into her DMs to make shady comments about Moakler.
“Shanna’s boyfriend, who I didn’t tag in any posts, slid into my DMs,” Mellencamp, 40, alleged on last Wednesday’s episode of her and Tamra Judge’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast.
“Let’s just say, Shanna, when you get out of the house, if he hasn’t told you anything, you need to call me, girl,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum continued.
