Shoe snafu! Paris Hilton takes hilarious wardrobe malfunction in stride
Paris Hilton is laughing off her footwear fumble.
While appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” earlier this week, the style star stepped out wearing two different shoes with her lime green Giuseppe di Morabito look: one simple nude pump and one crystal-studded stiletto.
Fallon’s show promptly spotlighted the sartorial stumble on TikTok and Instagram, sharing a clip of Hilton in her mismatched heels set to Kreepa’s song “Oh No.”
“When you rush out of the house with the wrong shoes,” the caption read.
Fans sounded off in the comments, with designer Laurel DeWitt writing, “Someone’s getting fired.”
Others suspected she was simply trying to start a new trend. “I saw @parishilton wear mis matched [sic] heels, so I bought mismatched heels,” one person joked. “Paris doesn’t accidentally wear anything,” another TikToker wrote.
Hilton took the whole thing in stride, dropping two laughing emojis and a fire emoji in “The Tonight Show’s” Instagram comments and even shared her own reaction to the wardrobe malfunction on TikTok Thursday, shaking her head in disbelief while watching the footage of her fashion fiasco.
Fortunately, the heiress course-corrected quickly after realizing her shoe snafu: After an ad break, she swapped her errant nude heel for another embellished one, finishing out the show in matching footwear.
