Meghan King shades ex Jim Edmonds, says she attracts ‘narcissists’

Meghan King worries she’s a “narcissist attracter” after three failed marriages.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum admitted in a new interview with Page Six that she does not have much relationship advice to give former co-star Vicki Gunvalson, who is also newly single.

“I mean, look, Vicki and I are both not doing great in the love department, so who am I to speak?” King, 37, said with a laugh.

“It sucks. Like, nobody wants to be screwed over, especially publicly, but, like, literally, she’s attracted to narcissists — and by the way, you’re looking at a narcissist attracter as well.”

King was married to lawyer Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011, former MLB player Jim Edmonds from 2014 to 2019 and most recently President Biden’s nephew Cuffe Biden Owens, whom she wed in October before separating just two months later.

Although her union with Owens, 43, was the briefest, the former reality star’s divorce from Edmonds, 51, was the most dramatic — and public.

King filed for divorce from the center fielder, with whom she shares 5-year-old son Aspen and 3-year-old twins Hayes and Hart, in November 2019 after he was accused of cheating on her. She’ll relive their marriage while recapping old episodes of “RHOC” on her new YouTube channel.

“[I felt] terrible, cringey,” she told us. “I felt humiliated watching it. I think I would’ve struggled to respect my character at the time having watched me in that type of a marriage.”

She added, “The difference is when you’re in that relationship, you’re not going to see it with a fresh perspective. You’re going to have blinders on.”

King explained that in the moment, she was most concerned about creating the perfect family and the life she wanted.

“Denial is so powerful when you want something that bad, like when you want a healthy, happy marriage or a family,” she said. “In order to survive and continue to work through whatever you’re stuck in, you have to be in denial. It’s a survival tool.”

In her first YouTube video, King said Edmonds was “so rude” and “so embarrassing.”

At the moment, King is single and focusing on herself to not repeat those mistakes.

“[I’m] doing the hard work, I’m going to therapy, I’m meditating, I’m staying really healthy. … I think, like, reflecting back on these recaps from the ‘Housewives,’ that’s also, like, therapeutic in a big way as well,” she continued.

King’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County” series airs Fridays.
