Katherine Schwarzenegger pregnant, expecting baby No. 2 with Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their second child together, multiple sources confirmed to People.

The couple — who tied the knot in June 2019 welcomed daughter Lyla Marie in August 2020. Pratt also shares 9-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Reps for Pratt and Schwarzenegger didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The exciting news comes just days after Pratt gushed about his “complete boss” of a wife for her 32nd birthday on Monday.

“You are such a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner,” Pratt, 42, wrote on Instagram. “I simply can’t imagine how lost I’d be without you. You’re beautiful, tough as nails, reasonable, deeply thoughtful, extraordinarily smart, you’re a complete boss, eternally driven and you communicate like no other.”

He added, “We fit so perfectly into each other’s lives that our Union is a daily reminder that God is looking out for us. Navigating the odd circumstances of our world is a task I cannot handle alone. And I’m so grateful I don’t have to. Your commitment to helping others is contagious.”

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor hasn’t always been praised as the smoothest talker, however. Pratt received major backlash online earlier this year after he thanked Schwarzenegger via Instagram for giving him a “healthy daughter.”

Many fans criticized Pratt in the comments section at the time, noting that the word “healthy” seemed to “shade” his son Jack, who was born prematurely and has had to undergo numerous operations as a result.

After the controversy, Pratt said he felt “upset and depressed,” but he ultimately got out of the rut by playing some holiday tunes.
