Dakota Johnson reveals she gave Olivia Colman her first tattoo

Now that’s a dance party to remember.

During a night out with “The Lost Daughter” cast, Dakota Johnson, 32, recently revealed that she gave her co-star Olivia Colman, 47, her first tattoo.

The “Fifty Shades of Grey” star told Town & Country about the impromptu ink session, revealing that they celebrated the film’s New York Film Festival Screening with a party at Altro Paradiso in Soho, dancing to “a lot of Talking Heads, the Cranberries.”

Back at the hotel later that night, Johnson used a stick-and-poke kit to give Colman a tattoo. While neither of the stars has revealed what design she chose, Colman did weigh in on why she decided to get inked for the first time.

“Maybe it was me being completely seduced by this gorgeous person and wanting her to think I was cool,” she said. “Or maybe it was my midlife crisis.”

“The thing is, people are not behaving normally. If you go to a party, you f—king rage,” Johnson said in response to post-COVID outings, revealing that the cast’s dance parties were a tradition started by director Maggie Gyllenhaal in lieu of celebrating with dinners.

“The Lost Daughter,” based on Elena Ferrante’s novel of the same name, stars Colman as a college professor who meets a woman (Johnson) and her young daughter on a vacation in Greece, bringing up her own memories of motherhood.

While she can now add tattoo artist to her resume, Johnson’s certainly no stranger to getting inked herself. During an appearance on James Corden’s “Late Late Show” in January, she said she’s a “big fan” of tattoos and previously said she has practiced stick-and-poke tattooing on herself.

“I’m not a tattoo fiend. I mean, I have like 11, or 12. I don’t know,” said the star, whose body art includes a matching infinity design on her arm with boyfriend Chris Martin, the word “tender” on her arm and a dying sunflower representing climate change.
