Great news for little ones with a taste for luxury: The Row is getting into childrenswear.

The label designed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen launched its first-ever collection for kids on Tuesday, comprised of colorful Italian cashmere separates like pants, crewnecks, belted cardigans and beanies.

There are even small cashmere hacky sacks stuffed with pearl couscous in place of the usual plastic beads, per W Magazine. (“Obsessed that the row hacky sack for kids is not gluten free,” one Twitter user wrote.)

But as with anything from The Row, these pint-sized pieces will cost you a pretty penny; prices range from $390 to $790.

“Cashmere and velvet…for kids. Obviously designed by people who have never had to do laundry in their lives,” one person joked on Instagram, while another wrote, “Parents better make sure they know what day their child will have art class.”

“No kid should be in a $600 jumper no matter how rich the parent(s) are,” a third opined.

Ashley and Mary-Kate (both 35) spoke with W about the inspiration behind the line, with the latter saying, “Over the past 10 years, we’ve personalized cashmere onesie and blanket sets for our clients and friends who have had kids. We wanted to explore that in a bigger way.”

The sisters even consulted with preschoolers during the design process. “They were very vocal and opinionated about what they liked and didn’t like,” Mary-Kate added. “We loved listening to their free minds.”

Ranging in size from 2 to 10 years, the pieces are all genderless and made without zippers, buttons, laces and anything else “that might make the clothes less comfortable.”

While the prices are steep, there’s a philanthropic component: Proceeds will be donated to children’s charities in Los Angeles, New York, and London, all cities where The Row has flagship stores.

And considering that the label’s adult-sized sweaters will easily set you back four figures, perhaps these wee pieces are a relative bargain — and could even pull double duty for more petite grown-ups.

“Ok so, my new goal weight is to fit into whatever children’s size of this line I can possibly squeeze into,” one fan quipped.
