Emma Corrin rocks black claws and a ‘swim cap’ on Emmys 2021 red carpet

The claws are coming out on the Emmys 2021 red carpet.

“The Crown” star Emma Corrin turned up at Netflix’s watch party in London on Sunday in style, wearing a pastel yellow Miu Miu tube dress with a matching bonnet — which many on Twitter compared to a swim cap.

The finishing touch? Long, spiky black nails, which the 25-year-old actress showed off with a pair of fingerless opera gloves.

While some people compared their look to “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Where the Wild Things Are,” many others were fans of the out-of-the-box look.

It’s possible that Corrin turned to Harry Styles’ rumored beauty line for their nail look for the night. Last month, they sent fans of the “Golden” singer into a frenzy by sporting a manicure by “Simone Cummings for Pleasing at CLM” — the same company name that Styles registered earlier this year — in W magazine.

Not only are the two Brits starring in the forthcoming movie “My Policeman” together, but they also share a stylist in Harry Lambert, who was responsible for Corrin’s looks for both the W shoot and the Emmys.

Corrin is nominated for their first Emmy, and is predicted to win Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Meanwhile, “The Crown” is nominated in multiple categories, and Josh O’Connor, who plays the Prince Charles to Corrin’s Princess Diana, is also nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
