Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo continued to fuel dating rumors with a little “foreplay” at a golf event in New Jersey this week, but a source exclusively told Page Six the pair are “not dating.”
“They are good friends and not dating,” the insider told us Friday. “Craig films for ‘Summer House’ multiple times this year, hence why he is up there.”
The Bravolebrities were photographed hanging out together Thursday at Liberty National Golf Course for the PGA Tour’s “FedExCup Playoffs.”
“The pair were seen on their own, all smiles, as they walked the golf course together enjoying the Northern Trust tournament,” a separate insider told Page Six. “Craig is a huge golf fan and was very excited to be there with Paige.”
We’re told Conover, 32, is pals with professional golfer Dustin Johnson and his fiancé, Paulina Gretzky, and the couple invited the “Southern Charm” star to attend the event. He then asked DeSorbo, 28, to join him as well.
At the tournament, a source spotted Conover getting the “Summer House” fashionista a drink and the duo also “shared burgers” at Shake Shack.
“This was Paige’s first tournament, so Craig was trying to show her the ropes — it was cute,” an insider added, although noting that there was “no PDA to my knowledge.”
DeSorbo previously denied that she and Conover are more than just friends.
The reality star said on Dear Media’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast in April, “Craig and I have known each other for years because he came to the [‘Summer House’] house like two years ago, so we’ve always gotten along. We’ve always been friends.”
She added, “We are not romantically involved or anything, but we are very good friends.”
However, the Bravo stars have often been spotted out alone together by several fans who submit tips to the popular blind items Instagram account @deuxmoi.
Following their golf outing, DeSorbo also left a flirty comment on Conover’s Instagram post, writing, “Who’s your caddy,” causing even more of a social media stir.
Conover and DeSorbo are set to appear as co-stars on Bravo’s new series “Winter House Summer Charm,” and Conover has also been spotted filming on DeSorbo’s OG show, “Summer House,” for Season 6 — as our source confirmed.
Reps for Conover and DeSorbo did not immediately return requests for comment.
