Kendall Jenner, is that you?
Ireland Baldwin proudly showed off her latest tattoo on Instagram Monday: a large portrait of a nude, dark-haired pinup girl, which covers almost the entirety of her right upper arm.
But it wasn’t long before fans pointed out the striking similarities between the body art and a certain brunette supermodel.
“Who else thought this was Kendall Jenner?,” one commented, receiving hundreds of likes from others.
“Why Kendall Jenner though,” another wrote, while a third chimed in with, “Wow, she got a tattoo of Kendall interesting.”
However, Baldwin, 25, quickly took to her Instagram Story to clarify the real inspiration behind the lookalike design.
“My tattoo isn’t Kendall Jenner. She’s beautiful tho so I’ll take it … but it’s actually an illustration that was done in the 60’s,” she wrote.
The artist, Parker B., shared the actual inspiration photo from a vintage Playboy magazine on her Instagram, though there were still those who couldn’t unsee the resemblance to Jenner.
“I love my tattoos and I’m going to keep getting them because it’s my body, life’s short, and it’s none of your business,” Baldwin wrote in part, addressing critics of her ink.
When one person asked, “Why would you paint an image of another woman’s beauty on your own beautiful body,” the model responded, “Because I can and I want to.”
She may have to repeat those words to her father Alec Baldwin, who simply commented, “No!” on the photo.
