Cuba Gooding Jr. is still doing the ‘show me the money’ bit

Cuba Gooding Jr. is still dining out — literally — on his hit movie from 1996.

We’re told actor and party boy about town Gooding burst into the kitchen during the opening of Japanese joint O by Kissaki in East Hampton this weekend, and began riffing on his famous line from “Jerry Maguire.”

“He was personally thanking staff for the amazing sushi,” says a witness. “He kept yelling ‘Show me the sushi!’ based off the [oft-quoted (in 1996) line] ‘Show me the money.'”

We imagine that any kitchen staff born after the Clinton Administration were thoroughly confused by the gentleman demanding to look at the sushi.

Also at the spot were Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen, music executive Charlie Walk, cosmetics mogul Bobbi Brown, fashion designer Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss, Marc Packer, and publicist Ronn Torossian.

Gooding has been spotted at just about every bash out East this summer and has been showing off his karaoke singing skills — or lack thereof — at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett.

He was at the omakase spot’s opening with his girlfriend Claudine De Niro, who last weekend lost it on a woman who gave Gooding Jr. her number Le Bilboquet.

The woman on the receiving end of De Niro’s ire, Harvard-educated lawyer Lieba Nesis, told us De Niro was “aggressive” and “harassing [and] berating” her for at least an hour.

De Niro commented on the situation by saying Nesis is “full of s–t.”

Meanwhile, things aren’t going well for Gooding Jr. in the legal arena. Last month a judge issued a default judgment against him in the suit brought by an unidentified woman who claims Gooding raped her in a New York City hotel room in 2013.

He has chosen not to participate or defend himself in the suit and has until September to respond. Otherwise, he could owe millions.

Gooding is awaiting trial on six misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and sexual abuse stemming from three alleged incidents. He has pleaded not guilty.
