Chip and Joanna Gaines jet-set to California on family vacation

Chip and Joanna Gaines traded renovations for relaxation.

The “Fixer Upper” stars were spotted flying from their native Waco, Texas to Montecito, Calif. in a private jet with their children in tow on Thursday.

Video captured the HGTV family loading their belongings onto a small plane before taking off.

Chip, 46, and Joanna, 43, as well as their 5 kids — Drake, 16, Ella, 14, Duke, 12, Emmie Kay, 10, and Crew, 2 — are staying at a $32,000 per month beachfront home on their trip.

Once they landed, Joanna — who was dressed casually in a black tank top, jeans and a baseball cap — was spotted running errands and shopping at local Santa Barbara stores.

Their vacation comes just weeks after the couple was spotted celebrating their Magnolia Network launch with Discovery+ at the Polo Bar in New York City.

A source told us at the time, “Chip and Joanna had to wait hours to get a table at Polo Bar after their first upfront appearance years ago, and now they were part of a private event there to launch the network.”

The network is set to launch on TV in January 2022 but Magnolia originals premiered on its eponymous app in July.

The couple rose to fame with their HGTV series “Fixer Upper.” The show’s popularity helped them launch a TV and construction empire that includes Magnolia Market shops, restaurants, books, a magazine, a realty company, and luxury property rentals among other endeavors.

The show’s last season finished airing in 2018.

Chip and Joanna have been married for 18 years.
