Bennifer 2.0’s blended family continues to bond.
Ben Affleck appears to be settling into his stepdad role quite nicely by spending quality time with Jennifer Lopez’s 13-year-old daughter, Emme, on Sunday without the “Let’s Get Loud” singer present.
The pair were joined by two of Affleck’s kids, 12-year-old Seraphina and 9-year-old Samuel, during their fun trip to Universal CityWalk in Universal City, Calif.
The “Batman” star, 48, was photographed wearing a casual Boston Bruins hockey shirt, brown pants, New Balance sneakers and a face mask as he walked around the park holding a large bag of pretzels, a fountain soda and water.
Meanwhile, Emme looked cool with her latest blue hairdo, an oversize striped sweater, baggy jeans and boots. She also carried a giant bag of pretzels and a bright red shake.
Her twin brother, Max, was not present for the tourist attraction outing. Affleck’s eldest with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 15-year-old Violet, also did not attend.
It seems that Affleck and Lopez, 51, are making a more concerted effort to have their children get to know each other better.
Earlier this month, the lovebirds took Emme, Max and Samuel to Universal’s Studios’ “Simpsons”-themed attraction.
An eyewitness said at the time that Bennifer 2.0 “definitely looked in love,” adding, “They were walking shoulder to shoulder, and he was holding her hand.”
Affleck was first photographed reuniting with J.Lo’s family for her sister Linda Lopez’s 50th birthday in June, nearly two decades after calling off their engagement.
At the PDA-packed dinner, Max and Emme were seen approaching Lopez and Affleck to show them something on a smartphone. Sources have said that the Oscar winner has Lopez’s mom Guadalupe Rodriguez’s stamp of approval too.
Lopez shares her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2014. After their divorce, she was engaged to Alex Rodriguez from February 2019 until their split this March.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer rekindled her romance with Affleck in April, 17 years after they called off their plans to marry.
