Addison Rae called out after landing UFC reporter gig

Social media influencer Addison Rae is being bashed by both fight fans and studied journalists who take issue with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” guest star landing a gig as a red carpet correspondent for the UFC.

Rae, 20, hinted at a relationship with the organization on Instagram Friday afternoon, where she was seen wearing UFC gear and working on her moves with a partner.

She later posted two photos of herself working as a UFC reporter on Twitter, along with the caption, “I studied broadcast journalism in college for 3 whole months to prepare for this moment.”

Addison attended Louisiana State University for a brief period where she studied sports broadcasting, Distractify reports.

While it was a proud moment for Rae, many took issue with the TikTok star landing a job many feel more qualified reporters deserved.

“Stealing jobs from those more deserving, very classy,” wrote one follower, with another tweeting, “I can’t tell you how many talented and hardworking journalists I’ve watched not get opportunities because they don’t have ‘ the camera looks ‘ it’s unbelievable.”

Another outraged tweeter wrote, “the AUDACITY.. do you know how many people who are more trained and qualified who have been studying this and putting their WHOLE life savings into college that you took this away from. i have a friend who studied for SIX YEARS only to have thus shoved in her face. disgusting.”

Rae also had fans come to her defense, with one writing, “people tell you to get a real job and then are mad when you get one smh.”

Another was even more blunt, telling naysayers to simply accept that life isn’t always “fair.”

“Everyone on here b–ching LMAO Life isn’t fair. The fact life isn’t fair is what makes life, life. Get over it.”
