Andy Cohen praises Britney Spears, dubs Jamie ‘Jackhole of the Day’

Andy Cohen delivered an emotional speech supporting Britney Spears following her bombshell testimony alleging that her conservatorship is “abusive” and making her life miserable.

The “Watch What Happens Live” host called for the court to #FreeBritney from the longtime arrangement and slammed her father, Jamie Spears, for his alleged control over his daughter’s life.

“Tonight’s Jackhole goes to Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, who continues to have a death grip on Britney’s life, along with his attorney Andrew Wallet — yes, that is his name,” Cohen began his monologue on Wednesday night’s show, just hours after an emotional Spears spoke to the court in a hearing via phone.

Describing Spears, 39, as “defiant and angry,” Cohen praised the “Toxic” singer for speaking her truth about wanting to get married and have another baby — all while her conservators allegedly won’t allow her to remove an IUD in her body.

The Bravolebrity recapped Spears claiming members of her family should “be in jail,” as they allegedly forced her to tour in 2018, changed up her medication without warning and controlled her health decisions. Cohen, 53, ended his impassioned speech by calling for viewers and fans to listen to the “Sometimes” songstress — and, of course, employed some of her most famous lyrics while doing so.

“How about we all start listening to Britney Spears? Britney Spears is not a girl, she is a woman,” he said. “She certainly deserves a hell of a lot more than a low-rent ‘Mommy Dearest’ in a boxy suit.

“Britney, after the courage you showed today, you are 100 percent stronger than yesterday, and Jamie, if you want to make money in the future, I suggest you better work, bitch.”

Cohen concluded his segment by having the audience chant “Free Britney.”

During the emotional hearing, Spears revealed she’s been crying “every day” and said the controlling arrangement — which was employed after her public breakdown in 2008 at Jamie’s request — does “way more harm than good.”

“I’m tired of feeling alone. I deserve to have the same rights as anybody does by having a child, a family, any of those things, and more so,” Spears said.
