A$AP Rocky says he and Donald Trump are ‘good’ after Sweden drama

A$AP Rocky said he and Donald Trump are all “good” after some Trump supporters expressed anger toward the rapper for not giving credit to the former president, who interceded in his 2019 Swedish assault case.

After the world premiere of Rocky’s new documentary, “Stockholm Syndrome,” over the weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival, an audience member asked the Grammy nominee, 32, during a Q&A whether there was still any rift with Trump, 75.

Sources told Page Six that the Harlem native, who is dating Rihanna, responded, “Nah, we good.”

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, spent 33 days in a Swedish jail in 2019 after he and two members of his entourage allegedly assaulted a teen. He was given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay a fine of about $1,300 to the victim.

Video released at the time showed two locals following Rocky and his entourage around Stockholm before the melee erupted.

Trump had lobbied for the entertainer’s release by personally calling the Swedish prime minister.

After Rocky was sprung, reports said that some in Trump’s orbit were furious at the “Fkin’ Problems” rapper for not thanking the “Celebrity Apprentice” alum.

Rocky clarified to radio show “The Breakfast Club” in 2020 that he did thank Trump, and he also told GQ this year, “I was mad thankful that he did that, because he didn’t have to! He took the time out of his day.”

“Stockholm Syndrome,” which tells the story of Rocky’s incarceration, includes appearances by Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, Tyler, the Creator and others. Sources told Page Six that multiple buyers are now circling the indie doc.

Producer Matthew Perniciaro said at Tribeca of filming the project, “It was the kind of thing where you see the news reports and 24 hours later we pulled the cameras out and started shooting.”

Fellow producer Michael Sherman added of shooting the project in Sweden, “We had to learn their judicial system while on the ground.”
