Bristol Palin reveals her tummy tuck scar on Instagram
Bristol Palin peeled back the filters Tuesday on Instagram, showing off a tummy tuck scar from years past.
The former “Teen Mom: OG” star revealed the marks by lifting up her long-sleeve shirt to bare her stomach in a video shared with her followers.
“Let’s get reeeel for a sec,” Palin began. “I post what I want y’all to see…. from decent angles… and not from insecurities/scars (visible or not).”
The 30-year-old mother of three then zoomed-in on her lower half and wrote, “Here’s something I don’t share. The scar from my tummy tuck I had years ago.”
“Way 222 easy to compare ourselves on here,” Palin captioned the video, “just a reminder not to.”
Palin’s post was met with praise from fans and loved ones, including her mother, former Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin.
“Haha I love you!!!” the 57-year-old politician commented.
Another fan commended Palin for “being so open and honest.”
“Thank you for being transparent,” one follower applauded.
In a separate Instagram Story, which has since expired, Palin explained how the procedure was performed by Dr. Rose out of Corpus Christi, Texas, according to E! News.
“It was done in early 2018,” Palin said, per the outlet. “I don’t regret it. But recovery was, (without a doubt) the worst pain of my entire life.”
Palin also split from ex-husband Dakota Meyer in 2018, two years after tying the knot. The pair are parents to daughters Sailor, 5, and Atlee, 4.
The former MTV personality also shares 12-year-old son Tripp with her ex, Levi Johnston.
