New mom Naomi Campbell rang in her 51st birthday with some feelings of gratitude.
The supermodel, who announced last week that she’d welcomed a baby girl, recognized her 51st birthday on Saturday by posting a throwback picture of herself as a baby and tagged her own mother, Valerie Morris Campbell.
“BLESSED AND GRATEFUL @valeriemorriscampbell ❤️🙏🏾,” the famed fashion plate captioned the snapshot of herself in a frilly pink outfit.
Birthday wishes poured in from Campbell’s famous pals, and she shared some of her favorites on her Instagram Story.
“Sending luv to u today sis. I’m filled with so much joy for u!!!” wrote Janet Jackson, who had her son at the age of 50 in 2017.
“Happy Birthday, Naomi,” wrote Lenny Kravitz. “A new life is on the horizon. Love you sis. Xxx.”
Cindy Crawford, Kelly Ripa, Marc Jacobs, Andy Cohen, Donatella Versace and Bella Hadid were among the other well wishers.
Campbell has not revealed the identity of her child’s father, and did not clarify if she gave birth, used a surrogate or adopted.
“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel,” Campbell wrote when announcing the arrival of her daughter. “There is no greater love.”
A source told us last week that Campbell “has been wanting to be a mother for a long time and it finally happened.”
“She is the godmother to many friends and family’s kids and has always looked forward to the day of starting her own family,” the insider added.
