Anna Duggar pregnant again, expecting baby No. 7 with Josh Duggar
Josh and Anna Duggar’s family will be expanding once again.
“It’s a GIRL!!!!!” Anna, 33, captioned a video announcing the news at the baby’s gender reveal on Instagram Friday. “We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!”
In the video, Josh, 33, and Anna are standing in a field under a clear umbrella. When Josh pops the umbrella open, pink confetti flies out and the couple’s six children start running towards the camera from behind their parents in slow motion.
The couple have yet to announce a name, but it’s likely they’ll continue their tradition of “M” names with their seventh child. Their first six children are Mackenzie, 11, Michael, 9, Marcus, 7, Meredith, 5, Mason, 3, and Maryella, 17 months.
Josh and Anna originally rose to fame by appearing on the family’s reality television show, “19 Kids and Counting.” However, it wasn’t until controversy struck the family that they became a household name.
In 2015, a police report surfaced accusing Josh of sexually assaulting multiple young girls, including two of his sisters. Though Josh apologized for his actions, things escalated when later that year he admitted to using the controversial dating site, Ashley Madison, to meet women despite being married.
Josh issued a public apology before checking into a long-term treatment facility.
Despite the controversy, Josh and Anna celebrated their 12-year anniversary in September 2020.
