Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle marries Ashleigh Nelson

They do!

Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle married Ashleigh Nelson on March 30, People reported on Thursday. The couple exchanged vows in in St. Augustine, Fla., after obtaining their marriage license the day prior.

“I’ve always known from the beginning that Kyle is who I would marry,” Nelson, 30, told the publication. “To know the Chrisleys is to love them, and Kyle is no different. Kyle says he hopes he can be half the husband his dad is to Julie.”

Neither of Kyle’s parents have commented on their marriage yet.

Kyle, 30, revealed that he was engaged to Nelson in an Instagram post this February.

This appears to be the first marriage for both Kyle and Nelson, although Kyle has an 8-year-old daughter, Chloe, with his ex Amber Johnson. His parents currently take care of the little girl.

Julie, 48, told Page Six in January that she often wards off online trolls who attack Chloe, saying, “I can deal with just about anything, but the things that people have said about her on social media are absolutely unfathomable. It breaks my heart and it makes me realize just how far we as a country still have to go. The things that people will say because they’re sitting behind a keyboard in a basement bedroom somewhere is just unbelievable.”

Todd, 52, dedicated an episode of his podcast, “Chrisley Confessions” to “race and racism in America” in Chloe’s honor after he defended her against trolls as well.

Kyle and Todd were estranged for some time amid Kyle’s struggles.

He was arrested on drug-related charges in May 2019 and revealed that he attempted suicide in September 2019.
